What we offer
At iTS Leadership, we have developed a set of products under the iTS AAR banner with the core goal of helping people, teams and organisations to achieve rapid actionable learning.
We offer three approaches to enable your organisation to benefit from the power of AAR. We provide a professional AAR and BAR facilitation service, a comprehensive package to train your own AAR Conductors and our expert guidance to help you to embed this highly effective approach into your organisation.
Our set of products enable both NHS and business organisations to build capability at the pace that works for them and achieve a lasting and significant transformation in learning quality.
Developing iTS AAR Conductors
The term “iTS AAR Conductor” describes the person who facilitates AARs and BARs. Like the conductor of an orchestra, rather than make the music themselves, they ensure all the participants “make music” together and create their own solutions from the insights they gain during an AAR.
We know the success of every After Action Review relies on the knowledge, skills and confidence of the individuals who conduct the AAR and have created two highly rated versions for educating the AAR Conductors in your organisation. One is delivered face to face, and one is delivered remotely online. Both ensure Conductors can facilitate psychologically safe and productive AARs with the specific objective of capturing learning and deciding on action.

Expert facilitation of AARs and BARs
This service brings the benefits of independent facilitation and expertise in After Action Review and Before Action Review to ensure your teams can learn easily and effectively from any recent experience or create alignment and wisdom before taking action.
Our expert iTS AAR Conductors will lead AARs and BARs remotely or in person, and help your teams extract maximum learning from recent projects, pressing issues or challenging events.
You will benefit from our thorough preparation and scoping of the AAR or BAR, a full summary report of the lessons learnt as well as the skill of our iTS AAR Conductors in creating psychological safety for open & honest conversations. Please click here to find out more.
Sustaining the development of iTS AAR in your organisation
There are two key activities which will galvanise AAR to take root in your organisation and deliver the maximum benefits. One is to provide ongoing support for your trained AAR Conductors in the form of AAR Conductor Learning Sets to ensure AAR activity remains at a consistently high standard. These two hour Sets facilitated remotely by an expert AAR Conductor ensure all those you have trained, benefit from each other’s experiences so that skill development is expedited. Another key activity is to take the training of new AAR Conductors “in house”, so you can keep the pool of trained conductors growing and benefit from having your own faculty of AAR champions. There are four components to the Train the Trainer package for both the face to face and the remote versions of the iTS AAR Conductor education options. Please click here to find out more.
Creating the conditions for success
Achieving that shift to a true continuous improvement culture needs leaders and personnel who understand the iTS AAR model and the communication and organisational infrastructure to support it effectively. We bring the wisdom we have gathered from experience of success and failure elsewhere to help you create the strong foundation needed to be able to realise all the benefits of the successful integration of the iTS AAR approach into your organisation.

We are delighted that our acclaimed iTS AAR Conductor Development Day has recently achieved accredited CPD Status with the CPD Standards Office. This means participants can be assured that the education experience is of the highest standard and will receive CPD points for attending.
“The conductor of an orchestra doesn’t make a sound. He depends, for his power, on his ability to make other people powerful.”
